Weekend? What weekend? After the awesome senior party and the dance last Friday, I slept until noon the next Saturday. Unfortunately some people (I won't say names. Saige) had forgotten to tell me we had a softball game in half an hour and we would be gone all day.
Luckily they put me (who had never played softball before) on the spot where no balls ever come. However I caught the only one that did reach my spot, almost.
Then they put me as catcher, which was pretty funny.
All in all I made four points for my team, which got us second in the championship! Not that the championship was that big, but anyways.

Sunday we went to the church. All those people are so lovely! It's a shame I can never remember their names.
After church grandpa, grandma, uncle and aunt came for dinner. We ate our own chicken and corn. For dessert I had made a chocolate cake to celebrate Sydnie's birthday (again).

And now I'm sitting in the schoolbus. I am so excited for today! I hope my fellow seniors will remember me. (They probably will. I left a remarkable first impression.)
My first hour is Spanish. And my classroom is in the pool... I got no clue who came up with that idea. The school bus arrives at school at 7.30. My first class starts at 8.00. So I sit down in front of the school, next to the pool, on the side of the parkinglot. Writing my blog. Hoping I look popular enough with my phone and waiting for someone to talk to me.
There is a creepy invisible hour in my schedule which is after the first hour and I always forget it... Also the classroom is in some weird hallway. I still can't find. The hour is called FLEX and it's basically a study hour in which I go to choir. It's girls only and a lot of fun!
Tomorrow I am going to try out for the musical group. With the only Disney song I could come up with: supercalifragilisticexpialidocious
I got my schoolpicture taken today! I stood up early, overcurled my hair and put lots of makeup on.
And it's ugly...

You may have noticed I write on different days. I write whenever I have to wait. Also I can never remember half of the things I've done after three days. So that's why.
Tomorrow I have a Cross Country race. I kind of don't know why I am doing XC, because I don't enjoy running for longer than five minutes... But the team is awesome! Every one is so much fun and so freaky interested in me. I must have talked to everyone on the team. Every conversation kind of starts like this: 'Hi! Are you the exchange student from the Netherlands?' 'Yes I am' 'WOOOOOH that's so cool! O.o' And then they stare at me for five seconds before asking me thousands of questions. But it's fun!
There are a lot of foreign exchange students at Mountain Crest. Probably six or seven. There is a really nice girl from Norway which I have lunch with. We sort of teamed up to talk about America and home. Mainly because we understand each other.
I started doing work for my father on the computer, because in the two weeks I am here I've already spent my money for the next three months. I work in the living room where my hostsisters are watching movies. Constantly. Like always. Even if they are away there is a movie playing. I'll get used to that.
And now I can finally go to sleep.
